CardCaptor Sakura
Sakura Kinomoto is an average ten-year-old girl. One day when she comes home from school, she hears noises coming from her father's study. Overwhelmed with curiousity, she decides to find out what's causing it.
As she enters the study, she sees a strange glow coming from an ancient looking red book: The Clow Book. Sakura breaks the seal, finding a stack of cards. She picks up the first card, and says its name, The Windy. Suddenly, a huge gust of wind comes blowing away all of the cards but the one she was holding.
Soon after they disappear, Cerberus appears out of the front of the book. He looks like a stuffed animal, but insists that he's the guardian of the book. He was just sleeping on the job and shouldn't have allowed Sakura to do what she had just done. He quickly nominates Sakura as CardCaptor, and now it is up to her to find all the cards before the Earth becomes corrupted.
