Summary
Sakura is flying and dodging the Arrow's attacks. Just as she's about to get hit by an arrow, Syaoran saves her by using his Thunder attack. After using Windy to help weaken the card, Sakura seals it, causing Meiling to complain.
Sakura is in bed at night and the Clow Book starts to glow. Suddenly, Sakura is in a ruined building, standing on water. Two white ribbons come toward her from under the water and grab Sakura, pulling her down. Sakura realizes that she can actually breathe underwater and she hears Clow Reed's voice saying, "Water is a thing that flows." When she wakes up in the morning, she realizes that all of that was just a dream.
Finally it's time for winter vacation! Tomoyo and Sakura head over to Twin Bells so Sakura can get a notebook for her homework. She gets to pick a ball from a box to see what prize she gets for purchasing her notebook. Everyone has gotten the consolation prize so far. As Sakura is reaching for a ball, a strange power draws a ball into her hand. When she pulls out the gold colored ball she says that she too, must have a consolation prize, but it turns out that it's the grand which is a trip for four to Hong Kong.
Kero is thrilled to hear about the news. He gets all excited telling Sakura that he'll show her all the best places. Then, he realizes that Sakura may not be able to go because her father is going away on a business trip. Later that night though, Fujitaka says that she should go and that he's sure Touya will gladly take his place. Touya tells her he'll go, but she has to do five chores for him. Fujitaka says that Tomoyo and Yukito should also go with them, which makes Sakura even more happier.
At the airport, Tomoyo films the excited Sakura, who's surprised that Tomoyo brought her video camera. Tomoyo tells her that she couldn't possible miss filming "Sakura in Hong Kong!" As they head to the plane, Touya whispers in Sakura's ear that they're not allowed to wear shoes in the plane. Sakura believes him, and before she steps onto the plane, the stewardess kindly tells her to step in as she is. Sakura becomes highly embarrassed about it, and quickly rushes into the plane, yelling "Big brother?!"
In Hong Kong, Sakura is ecstatic about the huge hotel room. Kero looks outside at Hong Kong harbor, and asked both Tomoyo and Sakura where they were. Tomoyo kindly told him that it was Hong Kong, which surprised Kero, who hasn't been there in many, many years. On the ferry, Tomoyo video tapes Sakura, while Touya tells Sakura about the sharks in the harbor that he read. Sakura quickly believes the untrue story.
Somewhere in Hong Kong, Tomoyo and Sakura managed to get away from Touya and Yukito. While eating, Kero pops out of Sakura's purse and talks about how weird it was for Sakura to win the lottery, when she's terrible at them. He also says that the magical aura in Hong Kong hasn't changed a bit and that Sakura should be careful because there just might be a reason for her to be there. Above them, two mysterious white birds watch them.
That night, Sakura has the same dream. The only thing different is there are the two white birds that were watching her, and a lady, floating above her. Two white ribbons emerge from the floating lady's sleeve, and come down toward Sakura. As Sakura tries to grab one of the ribbons, she wakes up, confused. The next day, the group is at a restaurant, and the table is gradually completely filed with food because of Yukito's ordering. Sakura and Tomoyo have a problem at the restaurant trying to hide Kero from Touya since Kero magically appeared eating in one of the dishes underneath the dish Sakura chose. Later on Bird Street, Yukito notices two white birds above them. As Sakura looks up above them, she notices those are the same birds from her dream and follows them. Tomoyo and Kero closely follow her, but end up losing her when she decides to use Jump to follow them. They lead her to an old well.
At the well, Sakura seems to have lost them. As she turns toward the well a second time, she slowly becomes hypnotized. Just as she's about to jump in the well, Syaoran appears yelling "Wake up!" Sakura quickly snaps out of it, and is surprised to see him there. Turning around, she falls into the well, and gets wet. Joining back up with the group at Bird Street, where Meiling is now at as well waiting for Syaoran, they decide to head to Syaoran's house so Sakura can get into some dry clothes.
Syaoran's house, turns out to be a mansion. Sakura and Tomoyo are dressed in Chinese clothes, and all of a sudden, four ecstatic girls rush into the living room, and start to pinch and "idolize" over how cute they are. When Touya and Yukito walk in, with Touya complaining about having to dress into Chinese clothes as well, the four girls quickly forget about Sakura and Tomoyo. They turn out to be Syaoran's sisters, and they all stop when they're mom, Yelan, walks in. She proposes that Sakura stay the night, which makes the sisters squeal in delight, and Syaoran start to protest.
That night, Sakura and Tomoyo talk about Yelan before going to sleep. Kero tells the two that she is a direct descendant from Clow Reed and is therefore a possessor of tremondous power. They all fall to sleep soon after that and Sakura ends up having the exact same dream, only this time, the two white birds are gone. As Sakura asks who the lady is, a ribbon comes snaking its way down toward Sakura who grabs it. The ribbon then quickly rises up, pulling Sakura. Just as the woman flies toward the now raised Sakura, Sakura screams, waking her up. Pulling up her sleeve, Tomoyo, Kero, and Sakura see a red mark from where the ribbon grabbed her.
Yelan comes to see what has happened and takes Sakura out to the garden. There she conjures up a larger of the lasin board and quickly tells Sakura that she has a great enemy and that she'll have to go through many trials. Yelan quickly reassures Sakura that she knows that Sakura will find the answer. The next morning, Yelan kisses Sakura on the cheek, which Tomoyo quickly grabbed on film and causes Syaoran to become embarrassed. She then tells Sakura to beware of water, just as she's about to leave.
Meiling gives the group a grand tour of Hong Kong. They stop to do some shopping and Sakura looks a really pretty hair ornament. She quickly realizes that the lady in her dreams also has a pretty hair ornament. Yukito buys her the hair ornament, which causes Sakura to blush, and Syaoran to become angry, but it didn't last for long. They both sense the two birds and quickly follow them. The others follow them as well, but they lose Sakura. She ends up at a small shop and walks in.
She finds a book with a the same woman from her dreams on the cover. Possessed yet again, Sakura grabs the book and tries to break the seal. Kero desparately tries to stop her, but the rest of the group comes in, causing Kero to go hide. She opens the book, and then drops it when Touya shakes her back to reality. The room is then quickly filled with water, and Sakura comes face-to-face with the woman in her dreams.
The woman thought Sakura was Clow Reed because she sensed the Clow Cards on her. Seeing Sakura there, she demands to know where Clow Reed is. Sakura tries her best to tell her that Clow Reed is dead, but the woman won't hear any of it, and instead attacks them. Syaoran appears and helps Sakura, but that only makes the woman more mad, and so she starts to attack him. She shows them that she has Tomoyo, Meiling, Yukito, and Touya. As Syaoran distracts her, Sakura saves Tomoyo and soon fly out just as Syaoran is getting captured.
They return to the store to find out that the book has disappeared and so has everyone else! Sakrua doesn't know what to do, and blames herself for what happened in the water dimension. Kero suddenly remembers who the lady is, and they leave to the hotel. It turns out that the woman was a talented water fortune teller, until Clow came along. He took away all of her business and she always picked a fight with him whenever she could. As the all stop to find out how they can go back into the dimension, Sakura realizes that the other dimension door is at the same well that she was at earlier that week!
Sakura, Tomoyo, and Kero all arrive at the well later that night, with Sakura in another one of Tomoyo's creations. As they try and figure out how to get through the barrier, Yelan, comes. She uses her fan and finally, with much effort, puts a small break in the barrier. Sakura and Kero go through, and into the well. Once inside the well, Kero tells her to concentrate on her feelings, and they should end up in the right dimension.
Sakura lands in a dimension that doesn't look right, and immediately begins to worry. But once they see the two white birds, Sakura and Kero chase after them to a huge door. She opens it to find the sorceress. She tries desparately to tell the sorceress that Clow Reed is dead, but she refuses to believe it and starts attacking them with water again. Finally, she takes Sakura's friends and uses their powers to leave her dimension. As the dimension starts to fall apart, Sakura uses Fly and escapes just in time. The sorceress is surpried to see Hong Kong look so different, and has no idea where she is at first, but once she sees Sakura, the fight continues in the skies of Hong Kong.
The sorceress captures Sakura's in her ribbons, and forces her underwater, on the top of a building that's still under construction. Sakura struggles desparately and looks up to see the sorceress floating at the top. Struggling again, Sakura stops when she sees a tear she by the sorceress, and her history appears. Clow Reed gives the sorceress a very pretty hair ornament for her birthday. She's surprised by the gesture, and Sakura finally realizes that the sorceress never hated Clow. She loved him, but could never tell him. As the tear disappates, Clow Reed's voice is heard yet again, saying, "Water is a thing that flows..." Sakura finally realizes what she must do, and uses the Arrow Card to help cut the ribbons so that she can get out.
The sorceress is extremely angry and red sparks start emitting from her. But, she becomes surprised when Sakura walks up to her and asks her, "It hurts to lose someone you love. It hurts, doesn't it?" The lady starts to realize that she was wrong, and asks if Clow Reed is truly dead. Sakura nods, looking at the ground. She starts to turn into water droplets, and slowly disappears, with, "For such a long time...I wanted to see him...to tell him something..." All that's left of her, is her hair ornament, which Sakura picks up. It crumbles in her hand, and everyone appears in front of her, unconscious.
Back on the ferry, the next day, Tomoyo, Sakura, and Kero talk about the past week. Kero tells them that the trip was extremely stressful, but Sakura disagrees. She looks at the gift Yukito bought for her and says, "I also want to say how I really feel...I want the one I love to know." Tomoyo and Kero only look at each other confuesd. Sakura looks at Yukito and thinks I hope I can tell him someday. and blushes slightly. Tomoyo starts to record Sakura, and tells her that she hopes that they can come back someday, and Sakura immediately agrees.
