Summary
An old, torn, mansion is shown in the evening. A Clow Card awakens.
Tomoyo, Sakura, and Kero watch the latest movie they made featuring Sakura capturing The Create. As they talk of other cards Tomoyo wants to film, Syaoran and Sakura pop up on the screen, causing Sakura to blush. The two talk about his feelings about her. Sakura confesses that she wants to tell him her feeling in person as well.
Sakura gets up late in the morning again. Since it was summer break, Kero asks if it's a school day. She nods and tells him that her class will be doing a play that Naoka wrote for the Nadeshiko Festival. Excited, Kero asks what part she'll be playing. Embarassed, she stammers back, princess. As he excitedly talks about the last play they did, Sakura dreamily looks at the blank card.
Sakura arrives late to the rehearsal. After the rehearsal, Sakura complains to Tomoyo how hard it is to be a princess. They notice a sign that advertises the new amusement park that was built where Eriol used to live. The two friends decided to visit it the next day
As everyone sleeps, Sakura reads a few lines from the play. The lines that she reads causes her to think of Syaoran. Meanwhile, at the amusement park, a strange girl appears with magical abilities and hovers above the park.
Sakura and Tomoyo are looking at the amusement park, which isn't open yet. Suddenly, Sakura feels the prescence of a Clow Card and runs off only to bump right into Syaoran. At Penguin Park, Meiling and Sakura sit on the swings. Sakura listens as Meiling tells her that the engagement is truly cancelled. As Sakura asks Meiling to eat dinner at her place, she doesn't notice the wink that Meiling exchanges with Tomoyo. Meiling politely declines the offer, and tells her to treat Syaoran instead. This causes Sakura and Syaoran to turn a nice shade of red.
As Meiling and Tomoyo depart with Sakura and Syaoran, Sakura starts dinner. While serving tea, Syaoran spills the sugar, causing the two, to accidently touch hands. Sakura is about to confess her feelings to him when Kero comes and interrupts her. Later, she tries again, but this time Touya interrupts. While seeing Syaoran off, and while Kero sleeps soundly in his drawer, the mysterious girl above hovering above the amusemet park takes The Change.
At school, Syaoran and Meiling are "celebrities". The whole class surrounds the two and asks them questions. Meiling manages to get away to talk to Tomoyo. Since Sakura and Syaoran's behavior haven't changed, they both came to the conclusion that she wasn't able to confess her love to him. Tomoyo gets excited because she knows that she now has a chance to catch the confession on video.
After rehearsal, the gang follows Sakura to a new place where they can buy some drinks. She says they have to turn at the mailbox, but when she looks for it, she can't find the mailbox. The others don't think anything of it.
Later that night, Sakura writes a letter to Eriol telling him of the latest events. She stops writing, and looks at the blank card before falling asleep. As she sleeps, a card vanishes from her deck.
It's another day of practice and Sakura and Takashi get to try on their costumes that Tomoyo worked so hard on. During the day, Sakura gets to be alone with Syaoran twice, and tries again to confess her feelings to him, but both times, they get interrupted. Later, as they are all eating ice cream after the rehearsal, Sakura talks to Yukito. During their talk, another one of her cards disappear. After ice cream, the group is walking and the bridge they are to cross has disappeared. At home, Sakura tells Sakura of the missing bridge and Meiling calls to invite Sakura to go to the amusement park with Syaoran, Tomoyo, and her.
At the amusement park, Meiling tries her best to set the two up, as Tomoyo tries to catch it on tape. Tired of all the interruptions that seem to surround the two when Sakura tries to confess her feelings, Meiling suggest Sakura and Syaoran ride the ferris wheel together. This time, they get interrupted when one of Sakura's cards disappear. The familiar prescence of a Clow Card is felt by the two, and they follow it to a fun house. There, they meet the strange girl who takes four more cards.
Sakura tells Kero of the events of that day. As she tries to explain everything to him, the phone rings. Eriol tells her that the girl is actually the last card that was sealed away in Clow's mansion. It has all the powers of the Clow Cards combined, and is the negative of them. To capture it, the person with the most magic must give up the feeling that is most dear to them at that moment. As he tries to explain more, the Sealed Card erases the phone line.
After another rehearsal, Sakura tells Syaoran what she must do to seal the last card away. Syaoran tells her that he'd lose his most desired feeling to save the city. Sakura is hurt, and runs off into the rain, crying. She eventually bumps into a very surprised Yukito, who consoles her when he turns into Yue at Penguin Park.
Everyone is enjoying theirselves at the Nadeshiko Festival. At school, Tomoyo and Meiling try to cheer Sakura up. The Sealed Card makes another appearance and steals another card. She then causes a small "quake". To avoid anyone being hurt, Sakura casts Sleep, which gets taken away. Takashi gets harmed when he falls from the Sleep and can't go on. Just as it is about to be cancelled, he says Syaoran should be put in his place as prince, so that the show won't be cancelled.
The play goes on, and everything is running smoothly. Toward the end of the play, the Sealed Card causes havoc and starts to erase everything. Only Sakura, Syaoran, Meiling, Tomoyo, Yue, and Keroberos are left. Tomoyo hands Sakura and Syaoran so that they will come back safe and sound.
As they look at the city to find the Sealed Card, more of Sakura's cards are taken away. She uses Windy to try to gain them back, but they go right through, and Windy is also taken away. Meiling and Tomoyo are soon erased. Sakura counts five cards left. Yue and Kero figure out that the Sealed Card is at the amusement park.
Sakura loses Jump and Time when she arrives at the amusement park due to the Sealed Card attacking her. Yue and Kero are erased as well. Since Clow's creations don't have an effect against the Sealed Card, Syaoran runs off to fine the Sealed Card.
Syaoran damages the Sealed Card while using Thunder. It tries to erase Syaoran as well. Sakura, thinking she's alone, uses Fly and follows it to the clock tower. She loses Fly, and almost falls to her death, if she didn't grab a hold of the giant pendulum. A bunch of rubble is about to fall on top of her, but since she uses Shield, she's safe. The Sealed Card takes Shield as well. Sakura runs on the winding stairs, trying to get closer to the card so she can attempt to seal it. The card corners her by erasing the stairs around her. Managing to turn the Sakura Cards against the Sealed Card, they form a bridge, which Sakura walks on to get to the Sealed Card. Finally, she's able to seal and transform it, but it suddenly goes to Syaoran who is on the stairs. The blank card that is with Sakura activates.
The blank card and the Sealed Card combines to become The Hope. It tells her not to worry. Thinking that Syaoran's feelings for her are now gone, she finally confesses her love to him. At first he doesn't respond, and then tells her that he loves her too.
The morning light reveals everything is back to normal. Sakura backs up, runs, and jumps across the large gap that separates her and Syaoran, even though Syaoran tells her to wait for the stairs to reappear.
