During his time, Clow Reed was known to be the strongest magician of his time. Possessing knowledge of both Eastern and Western magic, he inheirited many rivals along the way. Clow was the creator of the Clow Cards and also the creator of Yue and Cereberus. His magic still lingers on within Eriol, who is one of his reincarnations. The other reincarnation of Clow is Sakura's father, Fujitaka.
Clow did seem to be a heartbreaker. In one instance, he was challenged by a woman in Hong Kong, whom he beat. Enraged, she tried to challenge him again and again. He did, in the end, manage to win her heart, though this was probably unintentional, before he left.
