Tomoyo is Sakura's best friend and cousin. She is the only one, outside of the magical circle, that knows about Sakura's secret life as a CarCaptor. She has declared herself official CardCaptor video taper and enjoys to make outfits to tape Sakura in when she makes a new capture. She insists that it's to help Sakura note her past mistakes, so Sakura can do better next time.
Tomoyo is not only very smart, but also very rich. She's kind hearted, and always trying to help others no matter how strong their bond is with one another. Some of her other talents are singing, ice skating, and also skiing. Her own mother has made sure that Tomoyo looks like Sakura's dead mother, whom Tomoyo's mother greatly admired. CardCaptors Differences
Because Sakura's mother, Nadeshiko, was hardly mentioned at all, Tomoyo's own mother, Sonomi, wasn't either. Because of this, Tomoyo was only looked on as Sakura's best friend and never thought of as a cousin. Their relation to one another was an enigma, as well as Tomoyo's true wealth. For instance, they never showed she had body guards, but you could guess she was wealthy because she always had something new.
