Syaoran and Sakura
Sakura and Syaoran are probably one of the most memorable and cutest couples when it comes to anime. Not only does their love exist in the world of CardCaptor Sakura, but also within Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles.
When the two first meet, Syaoran is the type of person who has only one thing in mind: himself and getting the Clow Cards. This coldness has come from him growing up in a rather strict, magical family, which he will one day lead. Sure Sakura was overwhelmed at him, but if she didn't overcome that obstacle, where would these two be?
In the beginning, the two are rivals. They do eventually get over this, and become friends, which quickly turns into love. Sakura's ever optimistic personality starts to change Syaoran slowly, and he starts to...well, smile. During the course of the show, we watch as the two become flustered more and more when their near each other, and in the end come together.
At the end of the series, Syaoran does finally tell Sakura his feelings for her. This causes her to create a new Sakura Card. The unnamed card doesn't get a name until the second movie, where Sakura also voices her feelings for Syaoran.
CardCaptors Differences
What's the reason most fans hate the dub? The fact that they cut Sakura and Syaoran's love out. The whole series isn't based on Sakura catching and converting all the cards, but rather of her and Syaoran's relationship.
